Review: Wicked Appetite

Wicked Appetite
Wicked Appetite by Janet Evanovich
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Super FAST read!! There are some similarities to other JE characters but they have a new spin. I’m glad she has gotten back to more of her feel before Stephanie Plum (I liked it but liked the others better). I have not laughed so hard in a while! I love the imagery that she creates and the outrageous and bizarre scenarios she brings to life. The human like monkey was simply hilarious – I think he’ is what I laughed at most! The ninja cat was just funny. I really liked the characters and story line. My only continual hang up was this whole unmentionable thing and the history of what it all was. There was never any real explanation of what this was all about just two strange guys show up at the bakery and she is pulled into this adventure. It needed a section where Diesel just explains the whole thing to her and so the rest of us understand as well. Other than that. Really great, funny and mushy too… Oh, I also loved when she kept being pulled into the different gluttonies… Lol cannot wait to read the next one. 🙂
