Review: The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ

The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ
The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ by Joseph Smith Jr.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read the Book of Mormon many times before. I am extremely excited at how quickly I finished it this year! Generally, it takes me much longer… I know it is not that long of a book and I finish other books much longer at a fraction of the time. However, I like to take my time with it, to absorb what its saying and ponder on how that applies to me. In addition, it does not read like a mainstream book as it has compiled by Mormon and written by many different Prophets. In some areas, you will find yourself completely immersed in the writings but others it is hard to stay focused (at least it is for me). So usually, I read a chapter or two and that is it for the day. Every time I read, I always find something new. I am grateful for the influence that this book has made in my life and helped me develop into the person that I am today. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book provided for each of us by a loving Heavenly Father that it goes hand in hand with the Bible and both testify of Jesus Christ and His Gospel.
