Review: Ender’s Game

Ender's Game
Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Honestly I hated it. I know I’m setting myself up for mass amounts of rebuttle about how fantastic this book was. ugh. It sucked. The flow was strange, the writing was confusing and boring. I really don’t like Orson Scott Card, this was the last chance I was giving him. I’m done. I don’t care to fight or argue about my review. Maybe I’m not smart enough to understand Ender’s Game, I’m completely content with that.

Need to finish writing full review.

  1. Lol. I’ve avoided reading it because I’m convinced that I will hate it. But I’ll give it a try. I’m pretty sure I’ll react the same as you.

    • Honestly, I really hoped to like it. It was another ‘popular book’ that everyone swears is amazing. But really I think that they must just not be confident enough to stand with their own opinions. Which I feel is really sad. What do people really see in this? Or really most of Orson Scott Card’s books. The only one I remotely liked was Rachel and Leah, and it took me 5 years to finish! 😐 I kept trying and trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, and hoped that since so many people LOVE Ender, then this book would hold redeeming qualities. It didn’t. 😐 So my friend, I wouldn’t even bother. Let that be your excuse to keep searching for actual quality reading! 🙂
