I have read this over and over! The last time I read it I believe was in 1990! That’s when I lost our copy – but it’s one of those that simply stick in your head! It’s much different from the Disney telling we are used to – and of course much better! 🙂 I have been searching for a new copy for the last 20 years…
When the new Marry Poppins movie came back, these popped up on Audible, and I of course purchased all in English I could.
The rest of the stories that were written with this were great as well! 🙂 I think everyone needs to read the real version at least once. 🙂
I definitely enjoyed re-listening to these. However, I think I’ve lost a bit of the magic… perhaps too much reality in my life. After 30 years of not reading theses. They were challenging and I could only listen a bit at a time. There is the large possibility that the reader changed from the version I listened to in the 80s, which we all know could have had a dramatic influence.
Either way, still fun stories and good experience.
