Review: Full Tilt

Full Tilt
Full Tilt by Janet Evanovich
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I probably wouldn’t have read this as part of the continuing Full Series, if it hadn’t been for a couple things:
1) If I hadn’t already been on a quest to read all of Janet’s books
2) If my Aunt hadn’t told me how much she loved this series.

That being said, I also think I actually read this one once before about 5 or 6 years ago. As a random book that I found at the library before I really ‘discovered’ Janet Evanovich.

This book was MUCH better than the first book of the series!! MUCH!! You can tell how much Janet’s skills had developed over the years in-between the first and second book. I’m glad that I continued on with this series. It provided more smiles and giggles and something other than Bounty Hunting. I do like the path that she takes with this series as well. Although I complained that the first book was very corny I missed the presence of the two original characters in the first book. There were also some major disconnects and inconsistencies in the details. That was annoying, but I soon got over it (had to lol). Oh another thing, I didn’t like the whole two men scenario… My ex-husband had fidelity issues and so I tend to be sensitive to such things. Overall good book, fun and I’m excited for #3.

This was a breath of fresh air! I was so grateful to read another Stephanie Plum after reading a really long and heavy book! I enjoyed also that this Plum book had a much different plot than the others, I was also needing a change up. It was funny. It never ceases to amaze me how much Janet makes me laugh consistently! 🙂

How I Write: Secrets of a Bestselling Author by Janet Evanovich

I really enjoyed it. I thought the style of this documentary was fabulous and well done. I appreciated how she would describe her style, and her formulas and then give an example. It was neat also getting a glimpse into Janet. I would highly recommend this for people curious about becoming a writer, she did a fabulous job explaining things realistically and being encouraging. I would also recommend this to J.E. fans in general it was neat to learn about Janet and learn more about where her characters, plots, experiences and the like came from. Great read!

How I LOVE Janet Evanovich. I know that I say that nearly ever review of her’s. But it is the truth! I loved this cute little story. I’d have to say it was one of my favorites of Janet’s. Her cute little love stories are about a guy falling in love with some quirky woman simply warm my heart. These women are fun and spunky! I have decided that one of the reason’s that I love her is because she gives me hope to love again and that just maybe their is some guy out there glutton for punishment that will adore me too…
