Hi, my name is Jen, it’s lovely to meet you. I am just your average girl, who somehow ends up with fantastic stories and experiences! I’ve been saying for years that I am going to write a book someday. Someday I will… but for now I thought I’d start with a blog. I have lived all over the United States, I grew up moving a lot because my dad worked for the Bureau of Land Management and then the gypsy blood started boiling. I love to travel see and experience new things and take in all I can from the beautiful world around us (You can always find the beauty if you look hard enough). I have lived in 11 different places in Utah, 2 different places in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, New York City, Vermont & Philadelphia! Since starting this blog, I’ve also added on Hawaii, Seattle, Ohio, Long Beach, San Francisco Bay, Houston, Dallas, North & South Carolina, Georgia, & Florida! I’m grateful for these opportunities. Not only have they taught me more about myself but opened my eyes, mind & heart to other cultures and ways of life. I try to take the things that I love about what I learn and implement them into my own life. I am also in my high 30’s and a Mormon Woman, on my 2nd Marriage – to the most wonderful man! These things putting me in a very unique and sometimes challenge part of life and social group. Part of this is to mark my transitions through the adventures and adjustments to this thing we call life! Oh and the loud bright green highlight of our life is our Parrot Mango!!
We travel with our work, and sometimes we don’t. Our usual mode of operation is traveling via RV. We work together, we play together. I couldn’t ask for a better love, partner, travel buddy and adventurer!
Our little bird is more traveled (via car, rv & plane) than most people! She’s was born in Utah,, living along the Wasatch Front of the Rocky Mountains been thru the Cascades, Rockies, Ozarks, Appalachia, & Smokey Mountains, to the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico – followed the Emerald Coast around the Florida Peninsula (as much as we could) up to North Carolina and crossed over to Gaitlynberg! She’s the happiest traveling bird you’ve ever seen – just don’t ask her to fly herself!
Here are a few shots over the last few years that give a great glimpse into our life. 🙂 I’ll label sometime…
