I know it’s late in the day for this… but out of all of the photos I have seen today, this one touched me the most (and was the first one I saw) May we truly never forget our friends and family that died… and what this country was founded upon. May God Bless All – Everyday. And may we always remember the hand he plays in our lives, sometimes saving our lives, our hearts, our minds, or even just our feet from stepping in something. While the tragedy that took place here, it could have been so much worse. Thank you for your love and Compassion Heavenly Father!

I remember the day well. My husband came running in shouting at me to turn on the television. We saw the scenes repeated endlessly that day and driving through town everything seemed so subdued. Australians were in shock and mourning too. We rang our friends in America to make sure they were ok. Thankfully they were, not like so many others. I don’t think the world will every forget.
